In class you will learn how to use the Quick Curve Ruler to make curved quilt blocks. The sample is one row wider than the one shown on the pattern I felt it was to narrow. I have included the fabric supplies for both.


Urban Chained:

9 fat quarters, Or 12 fat quarters to make it a row wider like the sample

3 yards background Or 3 ¾ yards if making it wider

Quick Curve Ruler by Sew Kind of Wonderful

Sewing Machine in good working condition, bring your ¼” foot

Basic sewing supplies (scissors, seam ripper, pins, etc)

Rotary cutter (45mm is best) and ruler 

Zip lock bags to take home your pieces. 

Pre-cutting directions:

Cut only the strips that your pattern says to cut from each.  I will be showing you how to use the Quick Curve Ruler in class.


Bring all remaining fabrics to class. 


You may arrive as early as 30 minutes before class to get set up and ready to begin.

Please park in the “free parking” lot at the end of downtown on the right.  You may pull up in front of studio to unload, then move vehicle to lot.
